Innovation of cleaning systems in the process

of education of students of the Department

of Restoration in Academy of Fine Arts

and Design and its application in practice.


The project focuses on innovations in the field of cleaning processes of sculptural artworks -

polychrome wooden sculpture and stone sculpture, which represent an important part of the tangible

cultural heritage in Slovakia. Since time immemorial, sculptural artworks have been an integral part

of the liturgical and secular space.
