a) - The institution defines the learning objectives of the study programme such as student's abilities at the time of completion of the programme and the main learning outcomes.

Learning objectives and Graduate profile

The main objective of the Bachelor's degree Program Textiles is to educate the undergraduate student in the independent artistic work, which includes the whole set of activities: from the creation of an artistic as well as theoretical concept to the creation of an original work of art (artefact, design or collection), the materialization of the artist's/designer's autonomous attitude and the evaluation of his/her talent. The aim of education is a student who at the time of completion of the study programme is capable of independent presentation, promotion and coordination activities and open confrontation of the outcomes of his/her creative work. The graduate who is able to create independently within the textile medium, using the full range of materials, techniques and technological procedures resulting from the content of the study programme. Through his/her creative work and attitudes, he/she participates in the formation and development of culture and society. The graduate who can analyse the contemporary cultural direction of society in a social, economic and ecological context.

Main learning outcomes:

The rgraduate of the study programme Textiles has both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of design of textile materials and/or products and works made of them - i.e. clothing, clothing accessories, textile design and original textile artefacts. The student is able to use the acquired knowledge creatively in independent design practice, independent creative activity and is also able to apply it in design in various areas of economic (textile, clothing and creative industries), cultural and social life. The graduate - has the qualities to create independently and conceptually and design designer products and artworks of a smaller scale using the form of their own original projects or reflections of external assignments, in the field of textile materials, craft and digital technological processes and their overlaps into related artistic disciplines. The graduate is able to use creatively a discipline-specific spectrum of technical and technological devices from analogue to digital and to use the acquired skills in artistic and design practice. He/she understands the technological devices used in terms of their applicability to his/her creative work and is able to create assignments and formulate requirements for service personnel. He/she is able to work independently with digital tools and is able to continually educate himself/herself in these tools as part of his/her artistic focus. He/she is proficient in the basic relevant materials and technologies in the field of textile design, including their wider contexts. The graduate has the necessary theoretical knowledge of the history and theory of the history of fine arts, aesthetics, applied arts and design, as well as the history and development of the history of the textile medium, and on the basis of these abilities is able to conceptually create their own art and design works, interpret and present their work. As part of his/her studies, he/she receives a targeted training in related areas such as the basics of marketing and management. The graduate has the skills and competences for independent economic functioning in society. He/she is able to choose an appropriate form of artistic operation for his/her own creative activities (self-employed, Ltd., civic association, etc.) and to use the possibilities of supporting grant, scholarship and residency schemes in the domestic and foreign environment. The multi-layered profiling gives the graduate the skills for practical application in the domestic and international labour market.

b) - The institution indicates the professions for which the graduate is prepared at the time of completion and the potential of the study programme from the point of view of graduate's employability.

A graduate of Textiles study programme acquires the professional competence to perform the profession of a visual artist or designer at the level of Bachelor of Arts. The graduate can be employed in the textile and clothing manufacturing and processing industry in general, as well as in the field of creative industry (advertising and marketing agencies, creative production in the creative industry) and artistic creation at home or abroad. Graduates find employment as independent designers responding to current trends, engaged in the original creation of collections, or as creative workers in the design team in existing design studios or textile production at home and abroad.

By the time they graduate with their Bachelor's degree, they already have more experience in presenting their work at national and international art forums, exhibitions, fashion shows, fashion weeks, design weeks and trade fairs. The graduate has the potential to be employed in artistic and cultural operations in both domestic and foreign environments, in public and private organizations. He/she can work as an independent artist with exhibition practice, a member of creative artistic teams (with an overlap also within other disciplines, e.g. architecture, styling, film and theatre production, product, interior and furniture design). Graduates also work as lecturers and practitioners in institutions (ÚĽUV, cultural centres, galleries, museums, theatres, cultural and creative centres).

Graduates can also continue (after successful completion of the entrance exams) in the Master's degree programme in a follow-up or related study programme. Many graduates maintain contact with members of the department even after their graduation and thus provide not only feedback on their personal employability, but also contribute to the expansion and content innovation of the educational curriculum and teaching approach, especially by offering collaborations between the school and the external environment of companies from the clothing and textile industry, as well as design studios.

c) - Relevant external stakeholders who have provided the statement or a favorable opinion on the compliance of the acquired qualification with the sector-specific requirements for the profession.

c) - Evaluation of the study programme quality by employers (feedback).

In this point the feedback from the employer is not expected as the respresenatives of employers are members of the AFAD Accreditation Board

4. - Structure and content of the study programme
a) - The institution describes the rules for the design of study plans within the study programme.

The curriculum of the study programme is elaborated by a main responsible teacher of the study programme on the basis of joint working meetings with other teachers involved in the teaching of the given study programme as well as with other teachers involved in teaching in the given study programme. The curriculum proposal is then submitted for discussion by the main responsible teacher of the study programme to the AFAD Programme Board, chaired by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. The main responsible teacher for the study programme will consider incorporating the suggestions of the AFAD Programme Board and subsequently submit the study plan as part of the study programme description

for further study programme approval processes within the internal system of ensuring the quality of education at AFAD.

b) - The institution compiles the recommended study plans for individual study paths.

Studio teaching in the study programme Textiles has a profile character and is thus the most important credit component in terms of content and difficulty of the outcome and is also subject to internal grading and gradation: Preparatory Course of Textile Design (1th and 2nd semester) Preparatory Studio of Clothing Design, Preparatory Studio of Textile Design (3rd and 4th semester), Studios with the specializations on Clothing Design, Textile Design and Fibre Art (5th-8th semesters). Studio teaching develops conceptual thinking, theoretical knowledge and craft skills. The aim is the graduate who will have comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field, who will understand the historical context and who will have a general knowledge of current developments in the field. Studio teaching helps profile the graduate and leads him/her to creative thinking and work.

 - The Preparatory Course of Textile Creation provides a general introduction to the subject of textile design (1st semester) and prepares students to work with artistic concepts, in the intent of free textile design (2nd semester). It provides students with basic information and skills, theoretical knowledge of textile materials as well as practical skills in basic textile techniques and technologies. Overall, the teaching focuses on the understanding of textiles as an artistic medium and on the rich variety of its expressive artistic value. Further, its specialization serves as a preparatory step for the work in the Studio of Fibre Art.

- The profile courses Preparatory Studio of Fashion Design and Preparatory Studio of Textile Design (3rd and 4th semesters) prepare students more specifically and provide a deeper insight into the specializations of fashion and textile design, they deepen theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of the textile materials used, techniques and technologies of production, processing (analogue as well as digital), design methods, and design processes. They focus on an understanding of the basic principles, frameworks and processes of apparel and textile design (or collections). They discuss basic concepts such as: internal and external form of garments, pattern, structure and haptics of materials; etc.

- The profile course Studio teaching (5th - 8th semester) is divided into the specialisations of Fashion Design, Textile Design and Fibre Art.  Studio teaching in each specialisation focuses on the specific development and deepening of students' knowledge of practical as well as theoretical knowledge and skills they use and creative experimental manipulation of textile materials, processes, techniques, creative and design procedures and methods. The aim of teaching is to find the student's/graduate's own language of expression. Studio teaching and core theoretical courses are a compulsory basis for every student of the Textile Design study programme. The group of theoretical and practical courses complementing each other in content is a compulsory component of the profile courses of the study programme:

- the most important theoretical subjects in terms of scope and content: generally formative historiographical subjects: Fine Arts in Cultural Context I - IV; which prepare students in art history and theory, philosophy, aesthetics and culture. The historiographical courses are completed with a committee examination after the 4th semester, which makes them part of the first phase of the Bachelor's degree programme. In the second phase (3rd-4th year), they are followed by Theoretical History and the context of the development of the field mapping and interpretive compulsory courses developing critical thinking in the studied medium Issues in Visual Media (Textile Art) and Image Analysis (Textile Art). The teaching of the theoretical courses is aimed at gradual deepening of the range as well as the depth of knowledge, the ability to interpret and analyse this knowledge in the history of clothing, textiles and design.

- the scope and content of the most important practical courses: Drawing I, II, III, IV, V, VI; Theory of Textile Materials and Textures; Digital Textile Design I, II; Textile Technology I, II, III, IV, V, VI.

Practical professional courses are used for the one´s own creative application of the progressively acquired knowledge of technologies, processes and materials; their main aim is to acquire basic skills in drawing and textile design, such as various (hand) craft techniques to digital design and processing.

In the field of fashion design, these include the construction of basic garment patterns, pattern manipulation, basic tailoring techniques and garment processing technologies. In textile design, for example, the fundamentals of printmaking technology (direct, reserve, etching and devore printing in various fabrication processes), design and construction of basic and more complex knits and woven fabrics. In the field of free textile creation, for example, various craft and experimental manipulations of textile processes, design and realization of jacquard fabric and digitally processed machine embroidery. All of these practical skills form the foundational pillar for students' ability to create original works and collections.

Studio teaching (in the structure: Preparatory Course, Preparatory Studio, Studio) and the main theoretical courses Textiles: Fine Art in Cultural Context I - IV; Issues in Visual Media (Textile Design), Image Analysis (Textile Design); they make a compulsory basis for every student of the Textile Design study programme, they are of a more general nature, they provide students with a basic overview and orientation. They are an essential theoretical foundation for their further own creation.

Successful completion of the compulsory courses Studio Teaching, Issues in Art Media (Textile Creation), Image Analysis (Textile Art), ends with the defence of the bachelor´s thesis and the bachelor´s state examination. For more detailed information see the table in annex Curriculum.

The Textiles study programme is complemented by a group of compulsory optional courses, which are divided into professional practical and professional theoretical courses. These courses provide the basis for specialisation in the field and at the same time deepen interdisciplinarity with regard to the world of art and culture. The content of the programme also includes courses that improve language training in the field of contemporary art and culture and in soft skills such as the basics of marketing in the arts and project and grant activities.

A complementary group of the compulsory foundation and compulsory optional courses are elective courses, through which students have an opportunity to overlap to other study programmes at AFAD such as design, applied arts, photography, printmaking, architecture, intermedia, painting, digital arts and restoration. This group also includes courses that enable direct practice in an external environment directed at the broader field of cultural professions. The elective courses are enriched by a series of courses that, through workshops, courses, excursions and short-term education, respond dynamically to current topics in the field of art and culture, including textile creation, by using renowned practitioners from the artistic and cultural environment, or in the context of the school's internationalisation with foreign teachers and practitioners.

The Textiles study programme offers a possibility of work placement and additional work placement in the domestic and foreign market, which in the framework of education bring students in direct contact with the professional environment in which they acquire practical experience and skills. The work placement is at the same time an opportunity for the student to gain new professional contacts and connections as well as theoretical experience with increased employability after graduation.

At the same time, students are encouraged

to participate in foreign mobility through study programs at foreign partner

schools, where they are positively confronted with educational experience in a

different cultural and social environment. Here they also confront their

artistic outputs in an international field and have the opportunity to become

part of international design, artistic and cultural networks, consortiums, and

production initiatives, associations and businesses.

As part of the broader educational process undergraduate students are integrated into ongoing design-research or art-research projects at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, and it realized either in the form of direct application in teaching or through exhibitions, publications and other presentation activities, which are also facilitated by grant systems (especially KEGA - the Cultural and Educational Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Slovak Republic) and the presentation of creative-artistic activities (especially FPU - the Fund for the Promotion of Art) as well as several non-government grant schemes e.g. Visegrad Fund of  the Tatra Banka Foundation.

The decisive evaluation tool of the educational results is the continuous semester assessment at the committee level (the committee consists of the teachers of the study programme, teachers from the Department of Theory and History of Art and is extended by experts from the external environment), which includes a mandatory presentation of the student's studio achievements, and its defence followed by a discussion of the committee and all participating students and professionals. Subsequently, there is an evaluation by the committee and verification by a whole-school committee composed of members of the AFAD Pedagogical Board. The result of the semester works of individual students of Studio teaching comprises of partial results of education combined not only from the profile Studio course, but also from professional and theoretical courses in a given semester, or in the previous semester of a given study programme. The summaries of the semester assessment are discussed and analysed at the meetings of the AFAD Pedagogical Board with the AFAD Management, where the positives as well as the negatives of the setting of the results of the teaching process are identified. At the end, the results of student learning are publicly accessible to the professional and lay public - a the whole exhibition exhibition in all AFAD buildings, other gallery and exhibition spaces, or online presentations https://www.digitalnyprieskum.sk/ or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/343atelier, Instagram https://www.instagram.com/343atelier/, https://www.instagram.com/atelier_textilneho_dizajnu/, https://www.instagram.com/studio138_afad/

In each academic year of study, the student is obliged to enrol in and successfully complete courses totalling at least 40 credits (ECTS), except for: a) the last academic year of study, b) the academic year in which he/she retakes the Studio course, c) the academic year in which he/she has to defend the Bachelor's thesis and take the Bachelor's state examination, d) the case in which he/she enrols in the course only from the summer semester of the academic year in question onwards. If a student fails to complete courses worth at least 40 credits (ECTS) in the given academic year, this will be considered as a failure to meet the requirements of the AFAD Study Regulations and the student will be expelled from study at AFAD in accordance with the law. In the academic year in which the student plans to graduate, the student enrolls in courses with the number of credits required to meet graduation requirements. Completion of the programme of study at the standard length assumes that the student has obtained 60 credits (ECTS) for each academic year (optimally 30 credits (ECTS) for each semester). If a student changes the pace of his/her studies, he/she does not have to obtain 60 credits per academic year, but the length of his/her studies in the TEXTILES study programme must not exceed the standard length by more than two years. The student chooses the profile course Studio Teaching after completing the 4th semester of the Bachelor's degree programme in the Textiles study programme by choosing the studio specialisation: fashion design, textile design, fiber art. The selection of specialisation is also subject to the approval of the head teachers of the studios (profile courses) on the basis of the student's previous profiling, his/her interest and the evaluation of the semestral assignements created from the 1st to 4th semester of study. From the 5th to 7th semesters of the Bachelor's degree programme, the student can apply for an internal work placement on the basis of the conditions of the internal internship (the application form for an internal internship is in the AiS - Academic Information System). The application for an internal work placement is submitted by the student through the following approval procedure: the application is approved by the teacher of the receiving studio and then the application is received by the teacher of the studio where the student has been admitted for the last two years of the undergraduate studies and the final approval is given by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. In the application, the student states the name of the specialised Studio of the internal internship in the study programme Textiless or the name of the specialised Studio in another study programme at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, if its choice is justified by the interdisciplinarity of the art project, and it is approved, the student will complete it during the 5th to 7th semester of the Bachelor's degree programme. If the interdisciplinarity of the student's artistic project in a given semester is not conditioned by an internal internship, the student, in case of his/her interest or the need to expand his/her knowledge within the artistic direction, has the possibility to take an optional course Supplementary Studio in another specialized Studio in the study programme TEXTILES or in any other study programme at AFAD. AFAD Students may participate in a study stay at a foreign university during their undergraduate studies (if they are enrolled at least in the 2nd year). They can apply for an exchange stay abroad in the Erasmus+ and Ceepus programmes or through bilateral agreements between AFAD and foreign partner institutions. They can also go as "Freemovers", i.e. they contact the foreign institution on their own, outside the framework of the AFAD exchange programme. It is also possible to apply for funding for a "Freemovers" placement in various scholarship and grant programmes, or with foundations and support organisations. The application for a study abroad through Erasmus+, Ceepus and bilateral agreements is conditioned by the participation in a whole-school selection procedure, which always takes place after enrolment, at the beginning of the winter semester, one year before the mobility itself. Details of the individual programmes and the rules for organising the placement are published on the school website and in the AIS. All types of foreign mobility must take place in accordance with the AFAD regulations and under the coordination of the International Office. The prerequisite for starting the thesis is the completion of the 7th semester of Studio Teaching in the fourth year of the Bachelor's degree. At the beginning of the eighth semester in the course Bachelor's Thesis (consultation, elaboration), the tutor in intensive discussion with the student generates the topic of the final thesis and the student works on the artistic content and then on the realization of the Bachelor's Thesis during the semester. The student presents the artistic content and the process of realization of the thesis at a work-in-progress check before the teachers of the Textiles study programme. The presentation of the work-in-progress is open to all AFAD students. The Bachelor's thesis is final work of the undergraduate studies is the Bachelor's thesis. The prerequisite for starting the final bachelor's thesis is successful completion of all years of undergraduate studies. The bachelor´s thesis includes a practical and a written part (the scope of the written part is determined by the head of the studio according to the rules of the Department of Textiles valid for the Textiles study programme). The bachelor´s thesis has one tutor(head teacher of the studio) and during the public defence it is assessed by the examination committee. The bachelor´s thesis consists, in addition to the written part, of the realisation of an artwork or a set of artworks, the realisation of a design project (which includes a realised prototype, or model studies and project documentation) and the relevant documentation of the practical part of the thesis. Before the defence, the bachelor´s thesis must be meet the deadline and be physically presented - installed in the department, in the school premises or in an external environment (galleries, alternative spaces, public space, etc.), where the undergraduate student also then defends the final thesis. The defence of the bachelor's thesis and the state examination take place before an examination committee, whose chairperson and members are appointed by the Rector. The course of the defence is public, but the decision of the examination committee on the results of the defence takes place at a closed meeting of the examination committee. A record of the course and result of the bachelor´s thesis defence shall be recorded by the secretary of the committee via AIS. A student who fails to pass the Bachelor's thesis defence and the state examination is entitled to one retake. If the student fails to defend the thesis in the retake, he/she will be expelled from the study for not fulfilling the conditions for the completion of the study programme TEXTILES. The course of the bachelor´s thesis defence: - the head teacher of the studio briefly introduces the student; - the student presents his/her bachelor´s thesis (its practical as well as written part); the practical part of the bachelor´s thesis is an artwork or a set of artworks; - the student answers the questions of the members of the evaluation committee composed of members from the internal and external environment, graduates, theoreticians; - during the discussion, the student answers further questions of the committee members and the public present. The student's discussion with the members of the committee and the public is an important part of the bachelor´s thesis defence (testing verbal skills and argumentation skills acquired during the study and feedback on the bachelor´s thesis). - the defences includes a state examination, which is based on a debate on the assigned topic area. The results of the evaluation will be decided by the committee at a closed meeting of the examination committee. If a student fails the examination, he/she has the right to one retake. If a student repeatedly receives a grade of FX, he/she is expelled from the study for not fulfilling the conditions of the study programme. The output of the bachelor's thesis is publicly accessible to the professional and lay public (at the whole-school exhibition) or in the online space https://www.digitalnyprieskum.sk/ or Facebook, Instagram and the AFAD website https://www.vsvu.sk/sk/udalosti/QXenZJOx/digitalny-prieskum/). Information on the method and conditions for successful completion of the bachelor's degree https://www.vsvu.sk/sk/studium/bakalarske-studium/ukoncenie-studia/ Further rules are published in the AFAD Study Regulations: Rules for repeating studies and rules for extension, interruption of studies: https://www.vsvu.sk/workspace/media/documents/studijny-poriadok-v-zneni-d1.pdf
e) - For individual study plans, the institution states the requirements for completing the individual parts of the study programme and the student's progress within the study programme in the given structure:

The exact structure of credits for individual courses is in the table of the curriculum in the annex. By enrolling in the programme, the student determines what part of the obligations prescribed by the study programme he/she wishes to complete in the following academic year.

The student shall enrol in courses so that the number of credits he or she can obtain by successfully completing them is sufficient to meet recquirements for continuing his or her studies in a given period. A student's standard course load for a full academic year is expressed as 60 credits, per semester as 30 credits. In each year of study, except the final year, the student is oblidged to take courses worth a minimum of 40 credits and a maximum of 90 credits. In the final year of study, the student enrols in courses according to the conditions for the completion of studies in the given study programme.

f) - The institution describes the rules for verification of learning outcomes, students assessment and the possibilities of appealing against the assessment.

The decisive verification tool of the educational results is the continuous semester assessment at the committee level (the committee consists of teachers of the Textiles study programme, teachers from the Department of Theory and History of Art and is extended by experts from the external environment). This includes a compulsory presentation of the student's result from the Preparatory Course, Preparatory Studios and Studio Teaching and its defence, followed by a discussion between the committee and all participating students and the professional public. Subsequently, the evaluation is carried out by the committee and verification by a whole-school committee composed of members of the AFAD Pedagogical Board. The whole-school committee is headed by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and takes place without the participation of students. The whole-school Committee will be informed by each Head of a Preparatory Course, Preparatory Studios and and Specialised Studio, who will introduce the semestral assignments, the course of teaching and the outcomes of the students' work, highlighting the students' outstanding achievements and drawing attention to the students' poor achievements, and he/she will also present the individual grades of the Committee (from A to FX).

The presentation of the teaching results of the specialised Studio Teaching, is followed by a professional discussion. The result of the semestral works of individual students of Studio Teaching includes partial results of education, which are combined not only with the results from the profile course of the specialized Studio, but also with the results from the professional and theoretical courses in the given semester, or in the previous semester of the study programme Textiles. At the end, the outcomes of the students' education are publicly accessible to the professional and general public (the whole-school exhibition in all AFAD premises, other gallery and exhibition spaces, or online presentations https://www.digitalnyprieskum.sk/ or Facebook,

Instagram and AFAD website https://www.vsvu.sk/sk/udalosti/QXenZJOx/digitalny-prieskum/).

https://www.instagram.com/atelier_textilneho_dizajnu/,

https://www.instagram.com/studio138_afad/)

The assessment of study achievements and the possibilities of corrective procedures are determined by the AFAD Study Regulations:

The assessment of the student's study achievements within the course study is conducted mainly:a) by continuous control of the learning results in individual courses during the teaching part of the study (e.g. the state of work in progress, partial assignments, completion of a creative workshop, workshop, written tests, assignments for independent work, term papers, seminar report, etc.), specifiedin more detail in the CIS (Course Information Sheet),

2 The grade is classified according to the classification scale determined by Decree No 614/2002 Coll., where the qualification scale has six classification levels

A – excellent (excellent achievements) – 1

B – very good (excellent achievements) – 1.5

C – good (average achievements) – 2

D – satisfactory (satisfactory achievements) – 2.5

E – sufficient (achievements meet minimum criteria) – 3

FX – unsatisfactory (achievements do not meet minimum criteria) – 4

Within theTextiles study programme, elective courses such as the Workshop and  Specified Excursion are assessed in the form of course completion (pass/fail).

A student who has been assessed with a grade of FX in professional , practical and theoretical courses is entitled to have two retakes as long as they meet the requirements of the continuous assessment. If a student has been assessed with a grade of FX in Studio Teaching and Bachelor's Thesis (consultations, elaboration) and has fulfilled the conditions of the interim assessment, he/she is entitled to one retake. If a student re-enrolls in any course, including Studio Teaching and Bachelor´s Thesis (consultations, elaboration), the student is entitled to only one retake.

g) - Conditions for recognition of studies or a part of studies.

A student may apply for recognition of courses taken in another study programme at another university. Courses taken at another university are recognised by AFAD on the basis of the student's transcript of the study results issued by the university and by submitting an AFAD application form (the exact instructions are stated in the Application for Recognition of Courses form). Recognition of the courses is tied to a period of 5 years after their completion. Recognition of the courses is assessed by the main responsible teacher or the guarantor of the Textiles study programme, who ensures its teaching on the basis of the transcript of the study results and the comparison of the CIS or otherwise described content of the education of the course. On the basis of the proposal of the Textiles study programme guarantor, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs recognises the completed courses. It is not possible to recognise credits earned for the completion of a course at a level of study other than the undergraduate one. As a rule, courses with a grade of E are also not recognised. The transcript of study results and the decision on the recognition of courses become part of the student's personal study documentation, kept by AFAD.

h) - The institution states the topics of final theses of the study programme (or a link to the list).

In the Textiles study programme, the themes of the final bachelor theses are generated individually on the basis of joint consultations with the student. They reflect the student's personal artistic/design interest and direction in his/her work. The themes of the final bachelor´s theses tend to range from personal individual themes to society-wide themes to assignments created for the needs of industry or original design, therefore the list of the themes of the final theses is not provided.

i) - The institution describes or refers to:

The thesis themes - bachelor's thesis, are generated individually for each student and formulated by the tutor of the bachelor's thesis on the basis of the student's previous studies and artistic direction.

c) - Characteristics and extent of distance education applied in the study programme with the assignment to courses. Access, manuals of e-learning portals. Procedures for the transition from contact teaching to distance learning.

The form and method of study is defined in the AFAD Study Regulations (Article 3, Forms and Methods of Study, points 5 to 8).

At AFAD, the combined method of teaching is mostly used, which is stated in the CIS (Course Information Sheets), even if the teaching is done completely in the form of distance learning. When a teaching method of the course is changed, it is discussed in advance with the study programme guarantor and subsequently with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at a predetermined time (usually May-June of the previous academic year when the study plan and the content of the individual CIS for the next academic year are reviewed). Complete distance learning at AFAD is realized by order of the Rector, especially in emergency situations (e.g. when a state of emergency is declared).

d) - Institution partners in providing educational activities for the study programme and the characteristics of their participation.

The given study programme is defined as an academically oriented, artistic type of study, but at the same time AFAD has established a mechanism of work placements and complementary work placements, where it cooperates with various types of institutions and companies in the domestic and foreign external environment. In addition to the permanent partners, cooperation with other partners is currently being approved. The procedures are published on the school's website and study guide (Bedeker).

e) - Characteristics of the possibilities for social, sports, cultural, spiritual and social activities.

Cultural-social events on the AFAD grounds are held in the Medium and HIT Gallery and in the public external school premises. The gallery premises are primarily used for exhibition activities of students and teachers, they also serve as a communication space for organizing various types of lectures and discussions, which are also open to the general public, or other social activities of teachers, students, staff, as well as alumni of the school. As part of the open-call mechanism, the school's gallery premises also present the exhibition projects of our partners from abroad or the results of our international cooperation. Within the framework of international cooperation, projects of international significance are periodically prepared (for example Exhibition of Textile Miniature TxT, Textile Art of Today Trienale , International Triennal of Tapesry Łódź, Fashion Live Bratislava, Unique Fashion Week, Bratislava Design Week, Heimtextil Frankfurt, Talente München, Šperk stret, etc.)

Another important AFAD facility is the Communication and Visualization Training Centre in Kremnica, which is used for the school for creative workshops and a block teaching process. The Training Centre has accommodation facilities, lecture rooms, digital technology equipment and material facilities. The facility is used extensively for workshops, conferences, seminars and meetings also with foreign partner educational institutions and promotes internationalisation, interaction and joint concentrated creative activity. Due to its advantageous geographical location, the teaching centre is used for year-round outdoor sports activities as part of creative residencies.

f) - Possibilities and conditions for participation of the study programme students in mobilities and internships (indicating contact details), application instructions, rules for recognition of this education.

Students of the Textiles study programme can mainly benefit from Erasmus+ mobility (projects KA103 and KA107), CEEPUS, programmes based on bilateral agreements and opportunities of National Scholarship Programme focused on a student, teaching and non-teaching mobility. In addition to the standard mobility programs, students also participate in other artistic and research projects, in which AFAD creates joint international platforms with selected foreign partners and collaborates on specific artistic, exhibition, presentation, research and innovation tasks and projects. In order to carry out the mobility in the Textiles study programme and to gain international experience, AFAD has established a wide network of partnerships in most of the European Union countries, non-EU partner countries in Europe (Western Balkan countries, Ukraine, Georgia), Asia (China, Japan, India, Israel, Turkey) and America (USA, Mexico). Students of the Textiles programme will also have the opportunity to benefit from a number of international workshops, lectures, seminars, training courses and meetings with visiting foreign teachers at our school.

Equally important is the opportunity to complete part of the study with a visiting lecturer from abroad as part of the primary teaching. Foreign students in our country, who come mainly under the Erasmus+ programme, will contribute to building contacts and opportunities for future collaborations for our students. Students of the Textiles study programme will have the opportunity to benefit from the activities of major international networks of which the Academy of Fine Arts and Design is a part (Cumulus, ELIA, Archintex, FashionSEEDS,

WearSustain,) of. International presentation activities of students are also supported by the embassies of the Slovak Republic and cultural institutes of the Slovak Republic abroad. In addition to study placements, artistic-research and presentation activities, students of the Textiles study programme will have the opportunity to take advantage of student and graduate internships in selected foreign institutions, companies and specialized studios and studios within the Erasmus+ programme. All options, guidelines and rules are made available and updated in detail on the school's website and are also anchored in the internal regulations of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava - Rector's Directive: Implementation of the ERASMUS+ Programme at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava
